Link Crew Basic Training
What should I bring with me?
After you register you will receive a confirmation email detailing what you should bring with you to the conference. If you misplace the information you can access it by logging into your account on the website; there, you’ll find everything you need.
Do I need to attend the entire training?
Attending the entire training is mandatory in order to receive certification. Missing any part of the conference will result in your not being certified to facilitate the program at your school. In addition, college credit will not be offered if you miss sections of the training.
I need to leave the conference early due to travel arrangements. Will I still be certified?
If this is your situation, please contact our office so we can talk about your options.
What airport should I fly into?
Information for travel from the nearest airport will be on the directions/transportation information you receive when you register.
Why didn't I receive any information after I registered?
Whoa! We don't know! Please call us a.s.a.p. to verify we have you registered. It's possible a glitch in the system on either our end or yours prevented your registration from reaching us.
Typically, after you register, you will receive an email within 24 hours. Your registration was sent to the email address that was used to create your account profile. If you have not yet received it, it might be that your email address is incorrect in your account. Additionally, you can look in your "junk" or "spam" folders, as sometimes they end up there. If you do not find your confirmation email, you have two options:
1) Log into your account and print out your registration information under your conference details, or
2) please contact us at 800.688.7578 and we will get you the information you need.
I called the hotel and they don't have my reservation! Am I registered and do I have a room?
Don't worry! This is not uncommon and it's why we request for room changes to be made through us directly. You are always welcome to email or call us if you have questions regarding your accommodations.
I know that the hotel, meals, and materials are included in the training fee. Is transportation also included?
Unfortunately, we are not able to make transportation arrangements for you. You are responsible for securing your travel to get to the conference site.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
Circumstances of inclement weather are handled on a case by case basis.
What is the agenda for the conference?
Once you register for the conference, a confirmation email with an agenda and other conference details will be sent to you within 24 hours. In addition, details can be accessed by logging into your account on the Boomerang Project website.
Am I able to get a single occupancy room?
Accommodations for all participants will be single occupancy.
What types of payments do you take?
We accept checks, school or district generated purchase orders and credit card payments via either Visa or Mastercard. Please note that participants will not be registered until we receive a form of payment.
How do I cancel a registration?
All cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by the Boomerang Project at least 16 days before the arrival date of the conference. See cancellation policy below for further information.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) prior to 16 days before the start of the conference and confirmed by the Boomerang Project. Any changes or cancellations made within the 16 days before the start date of the conference will not be eligible for refunds and additional fees may apply.
What is the last day I can register?
Registrations are accepted up until the Wednesday prior to the training start date. However, it is not uncommon for the conference to fill up and close so be sure to register as early as possible to secure your spot.
Can I stay offsite?
Of course. You can choose to forego hotel accommodations, but the price of the training does not change. We do not suggest it, however, because of the length of the days and the amount of focus demanded during the three days of training. It is easy to get distracted if you are commuting to and from the conference facility and your overall experience may be compromised should you choose to stay offsite. Plus, we'd miss you!
